Management

Michael Wilson, Founder & CEO

Prior to founding Small World Labs, Michael served as the Director of Product Management at Coremetrics, the leading provider of web analytics solutions. As head of the group, Michael’s responsibilities included delivering new products and services, evaluating new markets, and assessing partner technologies. Before Coremetrics, Michael founded Wilson & Company, a return on investment consulting company. Prior to that, Michael was a management consultant for R. B. Webber & Company (a spin-off of McKinsey and Boston Consulting Group associates) where he led projects for high-tech companies, including Hewlett-Packard, Sprint, FedEx and ReSound (a hearing assistance accessories provider), and several start ups that were later acquired by larger companies, such as Cisco and Vignette.

Michael holds a B.A. in economics with summa cum laude and departmental honors from Yale University, and has also completed studies at Oxford University.

Miles Sims, VP of Community Solutions

Prior to joining Small World Labs, Miles held various positions at AT&T including roles on the U-verse IPTV team and the product marketing team working on the AT&T Yahoo! Partnership. As part of the AT&T Yahoo! team, Miles responsibilities included delivering online security products and assessing partner technologies. Prior to AT&T Miles managed the VPN product line for Vectris, an SDSL broadband provider,as a key member of the product team. Before Vectris Miles spent time in the start-up arena working in various marketing and technology roles.

Miles holds a B.S. in communications from Tarleton State University.

Rodrigo Dejuana, Director of Professional Services

Prior to joining Small World Labs,Rodrigo worked for the government operations division of Accenture. At Accenture Rodrigo's team modernized the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services child and adult abuse protection system from a legacy client/server system to a faster and more scalable web application. Rodrigo also worked on the creation of a mobile application that enabled investigators to take the State intake system out in the field and allow abuse reports to be filed electronically.

Rodrigo hold a B.S. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business.
