Dave Peterson, Chief Marketing Officer

San Mateo, CA—June 4, 2007—Aggregate Knowledge Inc., the leader in the new category of online discovery, today announced that Dave Peterson has joined as chief marketing officer. Peterson, the former Mercury Interactive Corporation vice president marketing, will lead Aggregate Knowledge’s go-to-market strategy and planning, corporate and brand marketing, corporate communications and field marketing.

Prior to joining Aggregate Knowledge, Peterson was vice president of marketing for Mercury Interactive Corporation (acquired by HP), one of the world's fastest growing and largest software companies. Peterson also served as vice president corporate communications for Mercury and was part of the leadership team responsible for positioning Mercury as the leader in the business technology optimization category. During his tenure at Mercury from 2003 to 2007, Peterson was responsible for global marketing operations, strategic go to market and category planning, and leading public relations and analyst relations for more than 20 countries worldwide.

Prior to Mercury, Dave served as managing director at LOCHHEAD Corporation, a strategic marketing consulting firm. Dave also served in senior corporate, product and field marketing positions at Cybrant, a sales configuration software company. Prior to Cybrant, Dave co-founded and served as vice president of marketing at GiveMeTalk!, the first web broadcasting service that allowed any Internet user to produce and broadcast their own talk radio shows. Dave was vice president of marketing at Pangaea Software, a start-up sales configuration software company and spent two years in the marketing team at Vantive Corporation (acquired by PeopleSoft). Prior to Vantive, Dave served in public relations and marketing management positions at agencies in Silicon Valley and the mid-west. Dave is an original mid-westerner and received his BA in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa.

Randy Komisar

Randy Komisar has served as a director of TiVo since March 1998. Mr. Komisar has been a Partner of Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, a venture capital investment firm, since April 2005. Prior to that position, Mr. Komisar had been a strategic business advisor and director to various emerging companies. Mr. Komisar also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Dynamics Inc., a video game development and publishing company, between May 1995 and June 1996. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of LucasArts Entertainment Company, a digital entertainment company, between January 1994 and May 1995. Mr. Komisar holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Brown University and a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School.
