The Company is engaged in a strategic collaboration with Ucyclyd Pharma, Inc., (subsidiary of Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp.) to continue research and development and to commercialize the following products, subject to FDA approval: GT4P (Glyceryl tri-(4phenylbutyrate) for urea cycle disorders (UCD) and hepatic encephalopathies (HE), and AMMONUL™ (sodium phenylacetate/sodium benzoate) Injection 10%/10% for HE. Per the collaboration agreement, Hyperion will also begin sales and marketing efforts for Ucyclyd’s existing on-market products for UCD: AMMONUL and BUPHENYL™ (sodium phenylbutyrate).«Less
