Leader in Personalized Product Recommendations Hires Former BroadVision Executive to Drive Market Demand
Redwood City, CA--January 22, 2008 - MyBuys, the leading provider of personalized product recommendations, today announced the appointment of Lisa Joy Rosner as vice president of marketing. With a 16-year track record of creating, leading and executing on marketing strategies in the technology sector, Rosner brings a wealth of experience to MyBuys. Before joining MyBuys, Rosner was vice president of worldwide marketing at BroadVision, Inc., an early innovator of personalized e-Commerce solutions. During her four-year tenure, she re-launched the company, introduced three new product lines into the global market and was part of the executive team that returned the company to profitability.

At MyBuys, Rosner will strengthen and expand upon MyBuys’ leadership in the personalized recommendation space. In her new role, she will oversee MyBuys’ key marketing initiatives, including brand management, corporate communications and market development.

“This is an exciting time for me to join MyBuys because the company is leading this new generation of personalization for e-Commerce,” said Rosner. “I look forward to helping accelerate our impressive growth and making retailers aware that our unique, patented approach to personalized product recommendations can significantly boost conversion rates, average order value and customer lifetime value.”

Rosner adds her e-Commerce executive experience in marketing to an executive team of proven e-Commerce leaders including: CEO Bob Cell, formerly COO of Blue Martini; Paul Rosenblum, vice president, products and strategy, former vice president of product management at Blue Martini and Siebel; Len Eschweiler, former vice president of sales at MarketLive; Shaun Schooley, vice president, client success, from Amazon.com; and Mark Weiler, vice president, engineering, from Microsoft. This seasoned team of e-Commerce technology leaders drives MyBuys fulfilling the promise of personalization, that had previously gone unfulfilled, to materially elevate revenues of clients including leading retailers like Lancôme, Ritz Camera, BootBay, Palm Beach Jewelry and Massey's Professional Outfitters.

“Lisa, who is a proven leader in the e-Commerce and online marketing space, knows the issues our clients face and we’re confident she will use her experience to help accelerate growth for both our market and our company,” said Bob Cell, CEO, MyBuys. “She’s a key addition to our management team.”

Rosner has also been vice president of marketing at DecisionPoint Applications and launched Market-Touch Corporation. She has served in senior business development, marketing, and education management roles at Brio Technology, SGI and Oracle Corporation.
