Michael Strambi brings more than 20 years of corporate finance to his new role. Most recently, he served as vice president of finance for MobiTV. Prior, he held similar titles at both Macromedia for four years and at Blue Martini Software for two. He served as vice president, controller and treasurer, for Sun-Diamond Growers of California for 10 years, after starting his career as an audit manager for Ernst & Young. Strambi is a Certified Public Accountant, earned his MBA from the University of Southern California, and holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento.

Former Pogo.com CEO and Electronic Arts SVP joins top online video site to expand Metacafe’s position as the leading online destination for engaging short video

Palo Alto, CA – February 7, 2007 – Metacafe, one of the world’s largest video sites, today announced the appointment of Erick Hachenburg as the company’s CEO. Hachenburg, who led casual games leader Pogo.com before assuming responsibility for Electronic Art’s global online strategy, brings more than 15 years of experience in market creation, global expansion, operations and publishing to his new role at Metacafe.

As CEO of Metacafe, he will lead the company’s overall strategy, oversee day-to-day operations and expand Metacafe’s position as the leading online destination for engaging short video. Arik Czerniak, co-founder and former CEO, will remain on the executive management team to focus on strategic product issues and partnerships.
