Oortle Overview

Oortle enables a real-time web experience by building engaging live social applications. People want to experience social media with others, but current asynchronous sharing methods don't work well. Our scalable backend platform provides a service akin to "WebEx for personal and social media" without requiring any client software downloads, and allows real-time interaction thru multiple devices such as the web browser, IM, SMS, and VOIP. This robust platform enables the rapid creation of synchronous web applications and real-time interaction via social networks.

Our first product, Photophlow, praised as a live version of Flickr, has demonstrated a 10x increase in user engagement on Flickr photos with its chat, social search and synchronized photo viewing. Our next product Videophlow is a shared video viewing space that enables easier, more engaging ways to share YouTube videos with friends via synchronized viewing.
