OptiSolar brings together an unparalleled, multi-disciplined team with extensive experience in low-cost, high-volume industries, inventing and commercializing new technologies, and energy & power industries. This highly accomplished and respected team, in combination with our innovative manufacturing and deployment processes, brings an unrivaled focus to building our brand promise — cost-effective solar power with long life.
OptiSolar Farms Canada, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of OptiSolar, owns and operates solar farms in Canada for the generation and delivery of solar-powered electricity. OptiSolar cells are made with very thin-films of silicon. Silicon, made from sand, is one of the most abundant elements in the earth’s crust. Most commercial solar cells use thick wafers of ultra-pure silicon to convert sunlight to electricity. The solar industry’s production capacity is restricted by the limited manufacturing capacity for ultra-pure silicon.«Less
