Surf Canyon Overview
Surf Canyon helps people find stuff faster when searching on Google, Yahoo! and MSN Live. Delivered through a browser extension for Firefox and IE, the technology determines the user's 'at the moment' intent by observing real-time behavior signals and then goes as deep as page 100 of the search results to fetch relevant information.

What do you think of Surf Canyon?

I've been thinking about installing the plug-in on Firefox to use Surf Canyon. For the description it looks pretty cool. It's not a stand alone search engine but it builds off the search results from Google or Yahoo.
Anyone use the product yet?
Hmm...after reading mkensey's comment I'm less inclined to download. I agree wtih mkr2x that from the demo it seems pretty cool, but maybe it doesn't actually add that much value? I know it's not a big deal but the fact that I have to download something makes me less inclined to do it just to try it out.
Google is trying to do something similar and is getting a lot of negative responses. Ultimately I don't think users are savvy enough to want to customize their own searches. I think design is a good way to approach making better search. Check out Viewzi.
