Saar Gillai, VP Engineering & Product Management
Saar Gillai joined Enfora in 2007 as the senior vice president of product development and operations. In this role, he is responsible for scaling development activities and operational processes, as well as guiding Enfora’s technology direction to support global expansion.
Saar joined Enfora from Tropos Networks, where he was VP of Engineering and Product Management. Prior to Tropos, he was Vice President of Engineering for the Wireless Networking Business Unit of Cisco Systems, where he played a key role in building Cisco's enterprise WLAN product line to the number one position in the market having developed and shipped more than $1.5 billion in products during his tenure. Saar also held key management positions in product development for the Desktop Switching Business Unit and the Multi Service Switching Business Unit, where he worked closely with major service providers on next generation network architectures. Prior to Cisco, Saar held management positions at Newbridge Networks, Rohde & Schwarz Canada and Wasserman Advisors.

TROPOS NETWORKS ANNOUNCES VETERAN SALES EXECUTIVE AS NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO
Succeeding Ron Sege, Tom Ayers to Take the Reigns and Lead Tropos in its Next Phase of Growth
SUNNYVALE, CA – January 8, 2008 — Tropos® Networks, the market leader in metro-scale broadband wireless mesh networks, today announced the appointment of veteran sales executive Tom Ayers as President and CEO to head the company as it expands its leadership in municipal and industrial enterprise markets. Mr. Ayers will succeed Ron Sege who will continue to serve as Advisor to the company.
On behalf of Tropos’ Board of Directors, Chairman Dave Hanna said, “I want to take this opportunity to thank Ron for his vision, evangelism and tireless commitment to Tropos and the whole metro Wi-Fi industry. He built a great foundation here at Tropos and I look forward to working with him in his future endeavors.”
During Sege’s four year tenure, he helped create the metro Wi-Fi market and drove the company’s significant customer and partner growth, product direction and team development, to achieve market and technology leadership. During the past six months alone, Tropos has experienced a 40% growth in the number of users on networks monitored by the company.

Mr. Ayers is a 30-year industry veteran who was most recently the Senior Vice President of Field Operations at Blue Coat Systems. While at Blue Coat, he helped lead the company through a significant market transition which resulted in thousands of new customers, number one market share and company profitability. Prior to Blue Coat, he led sales organizations for the McAfee Security division of Network Associates. Before that, he improved revenue growth and profitability at Sequent Computer Systems. He also served as Vice President of Sales for Amdahl’s worldwide professional services and multi-vendor maintenance organizations, growing the business more than fourfold.
“Tom has a tremendous track record in managing both large and small companies through market transitions to build profitable, high growth businesses,” added Hanna.

David Hanna
A former senior executive at IBM, David Hanna has been President, CEO, or Director of more than 10 high technology companies. He is now a non-executive Director, advisor and consultant at Sage Software, Inc. and serves on the Board of Directors of InfoGain, and MITEM Corporation. Hanna also is Chairman of Hanna Ventures, a venture capital firm, the Hanna Group, a high technology consulting firm, and Hanna Capital Management, an investment management firm. Hanna serves on National Board of the Alzheimer's Foundation, the Director's Board of the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Irvine, and the Board of Directors of Empower America. He also heads the Southern California Advisory High-Tech Council for the George W. Bush Presidential Campaign.
Hanna holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, and served as a U.S. Navy nuclear weapons and guided missile officer.
Bill Gurley
Bill Gurley joined Benchmark Capital in 1999 after spending two years as a partner with Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. Before entering the venture capital business, Bill Gurley spent four years on Wall Street as a top-ranked research analyst, including three years at CS First Boston focusing on the personal computer hardware and software business. His research coverage included such companies as Dell, Compaq, and Microsoft, and he was the lead analyst on the Amazon IPO. In both 1995 and 1996, Bill Gurley was a member of the Institutional Investor All-American Research Team. Prior to his investment career, Bill Gurley was a design engineer at Compaq Computer, where he worked on products such as the 486/50 and Compaq's initial multi-processor server. Before Compaq, he served in the technical marketing group of Advanced Micro Devices' embedded processor division.
