LOS GATOS, CA, December 6, 2004 – VhaYu Technologies Corp. announced today that John Coulter has been named vice president, marketing and business development. Mr. Coulter is an industry veteran who has worked for leading financial technology firms providing solutions designed to eliminate the many complexities that thousands of institutions
looking to trade electronically are faced with, including leading brokerages and exchanges such as Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Charles Schwab and NYSE. He has been at the forefront of promoting electronic trading via FIX since its inception and has written numerous articles on the benefits of trading automation.

"We are very pleased to have such a seasoned senior financial IT executive on our team." Most recently, Mr. Coulter was president and COO of Javelin Technologies where he
successfully turned the company profitable from 2001 to 2003 after its acquisition by NYFIX, Inc. (Nasdaq: NYFX), a leading provider of trading workstations, middle-office trade automation technologies and trade communication technologies to the financial markets.
He was also a member of Ease Technologies where he was a founder of the group that createdthe TRIAD indication of interest management system from 1995 to 1997, one of the first commercially viable FIX applications on Wall Street. He has also held various product and sales management positions at ADP, Bridge, VIE Systems and Reuters over the last 14 years and has promoted trading technology products in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He holds BA degrees in Journalism and English Literature from Fairfield University.

John Comerford
Nomura Securities' John Comerford Joins Vhayu Technologies' Advisory Board.

VhaYu Technologies Corp., the only firm in the world delivering
a real-time and historical tick-data capture, storage, analysis and execution engine, today
announced that John Comerford, managing director and head of quantitative trading and
research at Nomura Securities International, the U.S. broker/dealer subsidiary for Nomura
Holding America, Inc., part of The Nomura Group (NYSE: NMR; TSE: 8604), has joined VhaYu’s
Advisory Board. His appointment, made at a February meeting of the Board of Directors, is
effective immediately.

expertise joining our Advisory Board," said Tejpal Chadha, CTO and co-founder of VhaYu. "Given
his extensive knowledge and experience, he will be an invaluable source as we continue to
expand the scope of our products and solutions.”
Mr. Comerford is responsible for quantitative research and automated trading for Nomura's U.S.
Equity Sales and Trading group.

value of their technology-driven business solutions, rather than just their technology for the sake
of technology per se."
Mr. Comerford joined Nomura from Charles Schwab Capital Markets, where he was head of
quantitative trading and research for Schwab's Program Trading group. Prior to Schwab, he
spent nine years as a portfolio manager at Symphony Asset Management, where he managed
market neutral hedge funds, developed new fund strategies and built and ran a U.S. trading desk.
He started his career at NISA Investment Advisors, where he was integral in researching and
managing the firm's Efficient Index and where he developed multi-factor expected return models.
VhaYu was founded in 1998 by Tejpal Chadha and Ken Williams. Mr. Chadha held key
management roles at Intel Corporation (Nasdaq: INTC) and was one of the lead architects for the
Pentium™ and Merced™ chips. Mr. Williams has founded several companies and has worked for
Intel, General Magic and Taligent. A privately held company, VhaYu is backed by top venture
capitalists and technology investors including Deutsche Bank (NYSE: DB), Garage.com and, in
an April 2003 $6.5 million Series B round of funding, Menlo Ventures.

Arvind Purushotham
Arvind started his career as a chip designer working on low power versions of the Pentium Processor® in the Mobile Group at Intel Corporation. Later he became the Program Manager of the Mobile Pentium II® Processor effort and contributed to several successful product launches. His professional career includes brief stints as an investment banking intern at Robertson Stephens and as an associate at the Summit Accelerator Fund. Arvind is a graduate of the Harvard University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.), Case Western Reserve University (M.S. in Electrical Engineering) and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering).

John Jarve
John joined Menlo Ventures in 1985. Over the past 22 years, he has led Menlo's investments in more than 40 portfolio companies, primarily in the communications, storage, semiconductor, Internet and financial technology sectors. He is a member of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Management Board, a trustee of the Crystal Springs Uplands School, and a former trustee of the Corporation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
