Adam Klein, President

[ 2007.05.16 | Press Release ]

SAN FRANCISCO, May 16, 2007 — VideoEgg, Inc., the leading video solution and video ad network for online communities, today announced that it has appointed Adam Klein as president. Klein joins the VideoEgg team as a seasoned industry veteran to lead the platform and content divisions of the company.

“Adam is a great addition to the VideoEgg team and we’re lucky to have his expertise which spans music, broadcast and cable television, Internet search-engine, toy and game sectors,” said Matt Sanchez, VideoEgg CEO and co-founder. “In the media industry, Adam has repeatedly demonstrated his abilities to manage creative and design efforts to align with business goals. I will look to Adam and his experience as we secure media content for an audience that increasingly goes online for entertainment.”

Klein most recently served as the executive vice president of strategy and business development at EMI Music where he led adoption of digital technology and was responsible for shaping new strategic and business relationships in the emerging digital world. Additionally he was in charge of content protection and consumer research activities for the company. Prior to joining EMI, Klein was with MTV Networks where he worked as advisor to the chairman on overall strategy and business development with a strong focus on preparing the company for a digital future.

Previously, Klein was president and COO of Ask Jeeves, Inc., one of the original successful online search engines. The combination of his strategy and execution expertise along with his ability to foresee the Internet as an interactive environment enabled Klein to refocus and redefine the company when faced with challenges brought on by the bursting of the Internet bubble in 2000. He rapidly adjusted the company’s strategy and cost structure to better serve Ask Jeeves’ growing user base.

“Adam’s experience and passion for the convergence of media and technology give him a unique and thorough understanding of how to best meet the ever-changing demands of Millennials,” said Sanchez. “He will help VideoEgg to revolutionize media consumption and online advertising.”
