Apparently Intel, HP and Yahoo are planning a joint announcement at 11 edt / 8 pdt tomorrow.
Is Yahoo branding their own machine for the consumer market.
TechCrunch opines (along with 61 comments as of now) that "we’re guessing it will probably have to do with large-scale processing"

Intriguing... The large scale processing sounds more likely since they say it's a research related announcement.
The announcement is out - they're forming cloud computing labs.
