Prior to joining Revolution Money, Darren was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Avenue Mortgage Corp. and a Senior Portfolio Manager of Avenue Capital Group, a leading New York-based fixed-income hedge fund. Prior to working with Avenue, Darren held several senior risk management positions with Fannie Mae. His last position was as the Head of Credit Finance, the senior-most corporate officer with direct responsibility for credit risk performance of Fannie Mae's $2.2 trillion guarantee book (the largest risk portfolio of its kind in the world). Prior to Fannie, Darren was a Managing Director in Fixed Income at Goldman Sachs and a Principal at Morgan Stanley. Darren graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a BS in Biochemistry and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
