Howard is responsible for our sales and customer support activities. Prior to joining Symphoniq, he held a number of senior management positions at various companies that ranged from start-up to Fortune 100 status. His 20-plus years of high-tech experience most recently included serving as VP WW Sales and Biz Dev at NetContinuum. There he created major revenue generating OEM deals, as well as doubled revenues year over year since 2005. Under Mr. Doherty's direction, international business grew to 50% of revenues. NetContinuum was acquired by Barracuda Networks in July 2007. Before NetContinuum, he was a sales and business development consultant for Sana Security, where he was heralded for being instrumental in expanding the company from stealth mode to widespread commercialization. Prior to Sana, Mr. Doherty was responsible for directing an $85-million sales territory for Cisco Systems' security and VoIP products. He is also credited with establishing Netscape's Internet Learning Academy (later becoming iPlanet Learning)-subsequently growing it to a $30-million business through both direct and indirect sales and partner relationships.

Howard received his BS degree in Marketing from the University of Southern California.
