TriNet Expands Executive Team with Addition of Jack Midgley
Midgley Joins TriNet as Vice President of Human Capital Management Services

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (August 1, 2006) – TriNet, a nationwide provider of human resource (HR) outsourcing services for small and mid-sized companies, today announced that Jack Midgley, Ph.D. has joined the company as vice president of Human Capital Management (HCM) services. In his new role, Dr. Midgley will build and grow TriNet’s consulting services, focusing on issues faced by chief executives and their leadership teams as they build high-performing organizations.

“Jack brings deep management and global consulting experience and will play a critical role in helping us develop and deliver our HCM service strategy,” said Martin Babinec, chief executive of TriNet. “Human Capital Management is a strategic focus for TriNet, and we’re committed to providing customers with a high level of HR services that allow them to attract and retain high-caliber employees.”

Prior to joining TriNet, Dr. Midgley served as US Managing Partner for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, where he led strategic advisory services to global clients. Earlier, Jack was a partner in Ernst & Young’s San Francisco office, where he helped establish the firm’s Asia-Pacific Global Client Consulting group and led consulting projects in the US, Korea, the People’s Republic of China, and the Philippines.

Dr. Midgley graduated with honors from West Point, earned a Master's degree in public policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and a Ph.D. in political science from MIT. An award-winning educator, Dr. Midgley was Associate Professor of Political Science at West Point and taught management and leadership at Carnegie-Mellon University.

TriNet has previously acquired the customer assets of the E3 Group in Texas, as well as books of business from ALTRES in Hawaii and HR Logic in Boston. TriNet also received a substantial investment from General Atlantic partners, a leading private equity firm with approximately $10 billion under management, in July of 2005.
