Leading Provider of Data Security Appliances Adds Seasoned Start-Up Executive to Management Team

FOSTER CITY, Calif., May 22, 2006 – Imperva™, the leader in data security for the data center, today announced the appointment of Jim Drill as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Drill brings 17 years of industry experience in sales, management, and business development to Imperva. He has successfully led and managed domestic and international sales for emerging and established technology vendors including IMlogic, MedSource, and Parametric Technology Corporation. Drill assumes responsibility for managing worldwide sales including the company’s direct and inside sales teams, as well as channel partnerships.

Jim Drill joins Imperva from IMlogic, a developer of Instant Messaging security software that was acquired by Symantec in February of this year. As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, he grew the company from zero to over 750 customers in just three years. Prior to IMlogic, Drill was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MedSource Technologies, a developer of core technologies for medical device manufacturers, where he helped the company achieve a $100M IPO in 2002. He has also held senior sales and management positions with Parametric Technology Corporation while revenues grew from $25M to $1.1B in 1999. Drill began his career at IBM. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
