John Ferneborg has over 25 years of experience in executive search consulting. His expertise and track record in the industry has created a myriad of successful leadership teams in a broad range of industries. John has been named one of "North America’s Top Executive Recruiters" in the Book The Career Makers published by HarperCollins. Currently co-founder of Ferneborg & Associates, John previously served as a Senior Vice President and board member of Heidrick & Struggles and was a founding partner of Smith, Goerss & Ferneborg. He recently served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Association of Executive Search Consultants. John graduated from North Park College in Chicago, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He did his graduate work at Northwestern University.
