Josh Stein
Josh Stein is a Director and Kauffman Fellow at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, where he focuses on investments in wireless communications, software infrastructure/applications and consumer services.
Prior to joining DFJ, Josh was a Vice President at Telephia, where he managed a group providing strategic analysis and information to the nation’s largest wireless carrier. Previously, Josh was a co-founder, Director and the Chief Strategy Officer for ViaFone, a leading provider of wireless applications to Fortune 1000 enterprises. Josh has previously held positions in product management at Microsoft and NetObjects and was a management consultant in the San Francisco office of The Boston Consulting Group.
Josh has been engaged as a strategic consultant and advisor by Tripath Technologies), Mikohn Inc, E-Quill and FutureDial. Josh holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
