Newly Appointed Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Worldwide Sales Bring Impressive Track Records and Proven Expertise to Enterprise Open Source Leader
SAN MATEO, Calif.—October 1, 2007—Interface21, a leading provider of trusted open source software for building and deploying mission-critical enterprise applications, today announced the appointments of Phil Bradley as vice president of worldwide sales and Mitch Ferguson as vice president of business development. In their new roles, Bradley and Ferguson will be responsible for accelerating global sales and strategic partnerships in order to meet the growing enterprise demand for Spring Portfolio products and services.
Phil Bradley joins Interface21 after successful tenures at GroundWork Open Source, Documentum and Inktomi. With more than 20 years of sales and management experience, Bradley has established a solid track record of designing effective sales strategies and building high impact sales teams. Most recently at GroundWork, he successfully touted the benefits of the open source model, growing revenue by 200 percent and subscription sales by 400 percent annually. At Interface21, Bradley will focus on driving worldwide sales and the expansion of Interface21’s expert support, training and consulting services.

Mitch Ferguson brings extensive experience in managing domestic and international business development and operations at pedigree companies such as Arbor Software and Vitria. Prior to joining Interface21, Ferguson served as senior vice president, field operations at 3VR Security, where he spearheaded the company’s direct sales and channel strategies and grew sales by 180 percent in his first year. As vice president of business development, Ferguson will be responsible for increasing market penetration of the Spring Portfolio and related services through the formation and expansion of strategic relationships.
