Robert Harvey
Robert Harvey is responsible for leading the operations and information technology functions at BlueArc. Harvey brings a broad background of operations and information technology from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Previous to BlueArc, at Palm, Mr. Harvey lead the effort to build Palm.net, a wireless internet service providing wireless data and applications to more than a quarter million subscribers. Prior to Palm, Mr. Harvey held a variety of manufacturing and operations positions at Apple, including Director of Product Operations for the server and mobile product divisions. Prior to his technology career, Mr. Harvey had a successful career in municipal government, most recently serving as Captain, Uniform Division, Palo Alto Police Department.
Mr. Harvey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from the University of Santa Clara and a Masters of Public Administration from California State University, Hayward.
