Mani has also served as Director of Engineering at Openwave, the leading independent provider of solutions to the telecommunications industry, where he was instrumental in creating key product offerings such as Mobile Access Gateway, Location, Presence, and Device Management products for the mobile industry. As the first engineer at Phone.com, Mani directed the development of some of the most successful carrier network software platforms in history. He holds several patents in wireless and security.
